Fits M&D chunky puzzles!
I ordered this puzzle rack for our growing collection of Melissa and Doug puzzles, including several "chunky puzzles", despite some reviews stating that the chunky puzzles would not fit. THEY DO FIT! Quite nicely, actually. We also have a small peg sound puzzle that fits in the top section, and one large peg shapes puzzle that fits, just barely, in the bottom section. It is the answer to my puzzle storage prayers!

This puzzle rack works just as it should. It holds plenty of puzzles. The only problem is that is does not hold puzzles with raised pieces. No big deal, we had plenty of puzzles to fill it. A great way to organize a space.

This Rack Rocks
I really like this rack. It is sturdy and it holds all of my daughter's puzzles (most of which are peg puzzles) except the M&D lock puzzle and the M&D See and Spell puzzle (the storage box is too big). Not every compartment is full yet so my husband simply cut up a plank of thin wood to lay across the lower racks to create shelves.

This allows us to store her M&D Lace & Trace Pets and her M&D Lacing Beads - both of which would otherwise be too small to fit across the rack. We even have a few non-M&D puzzles in it and they fit just fine. It's so nice to have most of her puzzles now stacked neatly on a rack instead of piled under a table like before! I highly recommend it.
