Yes you can cover the adapter
I just wanted to address a problem that was mentioned in the other reviews. The AC adapter can be plugged in to the unit and the cover can be closed. It isn't detailed in the instructions, but there is a (very) subtle hole for the cord to go through in the lower left of the cover.

This way your AC adapter isn't hanging down like a giant black box, but is tucked neatly away inside the frame. The only drawback I see immediately for this product is that some photos are cropped, as another reviewer mentioned. I intend to use that person's fix to address the issue.

Gave it as an Xmas present but it wouldn't work.
It looks nice, but it didn't work. The powercord arrangement is a joke. You have to unscrew the back and screw it back up again. The cords are about 6 inches long.

Great Frame for the price
I purchased two of these, one for myself and one for my daughter. Was counting on the reviews being accurate, and they are! I am very pleased with my purchase.

The random is not totally random, and it does repeat the the third picture back quite often, and if you have a large number of photos loaded, it takes a while to get to all of them due to the repeating. I may change it to play in order to see if I like that better.
It takes some fiddling to get the adapter in, but I found that when I turned the black box that goes in the compartment over, it fit fine.

The quality of the frame itself is surprisingly good. The miter joints are excellent, and you will be proud to display this in your home or office.

VERY EASY TO WORK-Daughter Loves
I originally bought the ILive dock with alarm...but the alarm was TOO loud and repeatedly got louder and was not convenient because of this. Also, the IPOD function experienced difficulties in different ways on both I had purchased through ILive. SO, I tried this one and am VERY HAPPY! It is simple to understand, easy to set, and charges great. :)

WOn't charge my iPod
I usually have pretty good luck with electronics but this thing is frustrating. I guess I just got a defective unit because it was working for about a week and now it simply won't charge my iPod anymore but it will play it. I tried 2 different iPods. I am sending it back as it's still under warranty for 90 days from purchase.

Nice dock for iPod Touch
This dock works exactly as advertised. It lets you dock and charge the iPod Touch, and can rotate onto it's side so that you can watch videos properly on it. The dock's screen rotates, too, which is pretty slick. The sound quality is good, but it is not really meant for belting out the sound. It is perfect for background music in a home office. I haven't really used the alarm clock on it, but it looks straightforward enough.

Actually works as advertised.
I've seen dozens upon dozens of miracle products be complete failures or frauds, but this thing actually does what it claims to do. When I saw half the lights fail to come on, I thought my artificial tree hadn't survive being packed away for another year.

I was loaned one of these tools and begrudgingly tried it, only to be flabbergasted when it worked perfectly. My tree returned to life, saving me at least $100 for a replacement tree.

Why me?
I have a pre-lit Christmas tree that two tree rings went out after putting up the tree. So, I went to Lowes and bought the Light Keeper Pro. Well, what a disappointment. I couldn't get anything to work. The fuses test out okay.

I get beeps along the strands, but every light I take out is burned out. Anyway, the light keeper pro has been a total waste of $20 for me. I should have bought two strands of 100 lights for $6 and wrapped them around the tree. I would have been money ahead and stress free.

Works!!
This is one of the best products I have ever bought! We have a specialty prelit tree and 3 sections went out this year. I was going to just re-string the lights with a new set this year but, couldn't find what I needed. After watching the video on the lightkeeperpro website and all the great reviews, I finally located it in town.

I couldn't believe it but, it worked! One section had a broken off bulb, one had 3 lights burned out and one had a bulb that had a bad contact. No one is more surprised than me but this product works. I can't speak any higher of any product I have ever bought. Get it!

These candles smell delicious!
I am living in China and have been searching for soy candles, but alas, no luck. I ordered these candles and they were here within about 2 weeks -excellent service.

These are the best candles ever!!
These are the best candles ever. I love the fact that I am injesting essential oils vs bad fragrance oils. They don't have that waxy smell that you get from most candles and they burn really clean.

I love the fact that they have a lid - it keeps the candle clean when you're not using it. I also like the fact that the candle comes in atin container - no more melt down mess or looking for a saucer or holder for the candle. Good price point too!

best night light ever
I bought this for my almost 3 year old son when we switched him from the crib to his big boy bed. He actually sleeps with it in his bed and it holds the charge all night long. He usually picks a different color every night and always places him back on the charger in the morning. He named it Buddy, and it has been a great tool for the huge adjustment.

Love This Product!
I absolutely love this product! My two year old fell in love with it the moment we gave it to her. She will not put it down! The company really did a great job with its newest light. Its great how our little one can chose whatever color she wants and I love how I don't have to worry about cords.

Great nightlight
I bought this night light for my 3 year old daughter about a month ago and we absolutely love it. It is just bright enough to keep all of the "monsters" away but not bright enough to keep her awake.Since I bought this light, she has been able to sleep all night in her bed by herself. I will purchase another one of these for my baby as soon as she starts sleeping in her own room.

Very low light output
I bought this for an elderly coworker, and it looks nothing like the pictures when it's turned on. We went into a dark room and tried it out, and i found the low amount of light extremely disappointing.

I though maybe there were multiple settings but there weren't. i couldn't recommend this product to anyone. of course it doesn't bother other people when you use it, you can barely see the light!

Scratchy
It's a great idea. The light is definitely enough for when my husband is sleeping with the lights off and I want to stay up reading with a light dimmer than my bedside table lamp. The "screen" was pretty scratched up though. I can read through it, but it's annoying.

Good product with limitations
I read books at night, frequently, so I purchased this product so I wouldn't disturb my wife. This light source is simple in design: tiny LED lamps illuminate a thin piece of plastic (working similar to a fiberoptic lamp Lumisource LS-FO SPRAY Fiber Optic Spray).

It is about the dimensions of a full sized book and the black handle which houses the battery/light source is somewhat bulky. A small button toggles the light intensity from low to dim to off.

USE

Place the item on the page that you want to read, push the button to the light intensity that you desire (allow your eyes to adjust to the darkness, which may take a minute or more), and flip the item to the other page to read. As you turn the page, you will need to take the item out, and place it back into the book.

In concept, this product is ideal. You have a light source that is limited to the pages that you are viewing. However, even on the highest intensity (let's call it dim and dimmer), the light is still somewhat low.

What can you read with this item? Books that have high contrast paper (glossy pages are most ideal since the reflective proper of the paper allows for better view). Conventional novels are a bit more difficult to read. Magazines are impossible unless you read on your stomach with the magazine placed on the bed. Furthermore, pictures are difficult to see, at best.

DURABILITY

Like any screen on a laptop, I placed a SCREEN PROTECTOR on my lightwedge to prevent scratches. Any scratch with transmit uneven light (more than usual).

Given that LEDs have very little power requirements, I have had the same batteries in the unit for the past 3 years, and it is still running.

DESIGN RECOMMENDATIONS

More LED bulbs along the 'spine' of the handle would improve the light intensity.

A thinner, scratch resistant plastic with a lighter handle would be a marked improvement.

VERDICT

Knowing the limitations and tendency for scratches, it is an innovative product that still has good uses. You will need to try this product for yourself, before you can decide if it works for you.

Christmas Ornaments
I got this for my step-sister for her wedding shower. We all got ornaments for "their first Christmas." I was worried how they would look, but they turned out to look very nice, little procelian looking ornaments. And she liked them to.

More like charms than ornaments
Still okay for the money I paid, but I think they are somewhat small to be like the Lenox ornaments I have. The plastic envelope itself said "HOLIDAY GIFT CHARMS".

Nice and super fast shipping!!!
But it comes in a flat plastic see through case.
I took the sticker off the back which says "made in china" :)
It can be used individually to decorate and finish up a holiday present or the whole thing could be used as a nice casual x-mas gift.

Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.
Just giving it a four star since I thought it would be in a box like the other 9.95 ornaments did.:)

High in cool factor, but definitely room for improvement
We purchased this based on the need to "clean up" the Rock Band room. The other reviews were pretty good and it looks sharp online. We ordered on a Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday.

First impressions were good. Although quite heavy, it DOES look sharp, feels nice to sit on and holds a bunch of stuff. I put two wireless guitars, Rock Band 2 wireless drums and pedal, the mic, and a half-dozen controllers and remotes into the box with no problem. Once closed, visitors would never realized how addicted you are to fake plastic rock.

The Rock Box's internal drum support frame seems like a great idea, and it is, but needs two kinds of improvement. First, the lid closes at a low angle. This "clips" the front edge of my Rock Band 2 drums, making the box very tricky to open without damaging them.

I picture a visitor just pulling the box open without knowing and SNAP--dead drums. That's the weakest part of the design and could be overcome by adding a little more depth to the box itself.

Once you open the box, the hinged drum support rises and "locks" about two feet up. The range of motion ALLOWS for a few more inches of height, but sinks back to that one level. (As a 6' tall drummer, I "force" it to stay at the higher level by placing a block against the hinge base.)

It would be EXCELLENT to improve the support structure, which seems fragile, and allow multiple height settings. Both of those aspects compare poorly to the stock Rock Band drum kit.

Would I buy this again? Yeah, maybe, but I'd at least look for other options that handled the drums more elegantly. You could, for example, re-use the stock drum struts by putting sockets near the inside front edge, saving the cost of all that hinge engineering.

Pros:
- Exterior looks nice, comfortable padded top
- Easy to "assemble"
- Can fit many extras in the box, including controllers, games, and remotes

Cons:
- Lid edge "grabs" the green and red drum edges, a significant damage hazard
- Drum kit support doesn't "lock" at highest level, making it harder to use for tall players
- Feet could use pads to prevent floor marks, given the box weight

This thing is awesome!
Stores the pedal, mic, guitars perfectly and the lift for the drums is great.
Seems pretty sturdy.
It's comfortable to sit on for normal gaming, and lid works great to lean against when playing rock band (or just spectating).
I was worried it'd be too huge, but it's a great size.

Two things though:
It's listed as "dark brown". I don't remember that when I ordered it (I don't think there was a color) and from the pictures I assumed it was black. When the box came I was worried when I saw that it was listed as dark brown,
but it's either the darkest brown I've ever seen, or it's black.
The drum height isn't adjustable the way it is with the original stand, but it seems to be at a good height.

Rock Box
My husband and his friends are GH maniacs. The only fights he and I ever have are about the mess they leave in our family room when they're done playing. He bought this ottoman as a Christmas present but gave it to me last weekend to prevent another fight.

My daughter loves this! It works just fine as long as it's getting direct sun for a few minutes. The rainbows move around the room rather quickly as the prism turns. We've had ours for a year, and it's still going just fine.

downside of solar powered rainbow maker
Solar powered rainbow maker: One big problem given the ever changing angle and position of the sun is that the solar panel is fixed, and would be better on a swivel base, because it only works when the panel DIRECTLY faces the sun.

Broke right away
Our son was given this as a gift. The suction cup did not attach to the window firmly enough, and it fell. The crystal chipped but did not shatter. Unfortunately, the solar mechanism must have been damaged, and it has never worked.

While others do enjoy this solar toy, I would suggest buying chandelier crystal replacement pieces. I did this for very little money through Amazon, and got a huge array of different crystals for under $30.

We have these strung up and in a window. In the spring and summer, we marvel every day at "rainbow hour", which spreads a dazzling array of rainbows even into the next room.
