Just in case someone would like to know the dimensions of this bookcase it is 28"H x 25"W x 12"D. Also, we were able to put quite a few books in this, because my son has mostly the thinner soft cover, first reader type books. I could see it being hard to get many hardcover books inside. Hope this helps!

Great Bookcase
This bookcase is the perfect size for toddlers. My daughter is able to pull out any book she wants, and more importantly she is able to put them back in place without the books falling off of the shelves like with traditional bookcases.

Great display case for childrens' favorite books and new ones
My daughter has many, many books. So many that she often has trouble finding her favorites on the book shelves. Since she doesn't yet read on her own, she relies on the photo covers of each one to find her favorites. Unlike adults, little ones cannot thumb through titles lookin for the story they want at the moment.

I saw one of these on "Blue's Clues" and thought it was a fantastic idea for putting out books where a child could identify them, and it is! My daughter now can run and get the exact book she is looking for. We have a small, empty space next to the radiator cover in our living room.

It fits beautifully there where not much else would and holds a great many books. The shelf took about 15 minutes to assemble and the pockets were surprisingly strong. It doesn't have the appearance of "cheap furniture", either. It's actually quite attractive in person. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.
